Cyclohexene oxide(99.5% pure or higher), produced by our company, is a colourle and transparent liquid(sp.gr.0.985) with a slightly disagreeable smell. Boiling point, 130°C; flash point,33 °C. Miscible with most organic solvents, but very hard to diolve in water. Volatile and flammable, but non-corrosive. Hydrolysis of it will occur when coming into contact with acids/alkalis.
Cyclohexene oxide is an important organic intermediate. It is the basic material for production of pesticides, medicine, dyestuff, sensitive material, perfume, etc. It is widely used in synthesis of epoxy glycol, pyrocatecol, hexanedial, polycarbonate, crown ether, etc. In addition, cyclohexene oxide also can be used as chain-cutting agent, rubber accelerating agent, diluting agent, adhension agent of sensitive material, plasticizer, flame retardant, hardening agent, etc.
