CH gravure printing ink is sheet gravure printing ink with cellulose as its base material, ester and alcohol as main solvents. It is suitable for printing machines for general commercial purposes. It can produce excellent printing effect at various printing speeds and on most printing materials.
1. Features:
a.Fine color and luster, bright hue, clear layers;
b.Unlikely to adhere and scrape, and good rub resistance;
c.Free from abnormal odor, poisonle, good solvent release, and excellent performance in high-speed printing;
d.Fine resistance to chemistry, acid and base, water resistance, freeze and superior adhesion;
e.Efficient in post printing procedures (bronzing etc.);
f.Perfectly match with our sheet gravure printing varnish.
2. Base materials:
CH gravure printing ink is suitable for all sorts of sheet printing, such as copper plate paper, white card paper, white board, and treated metal thin films and metal compound films etc..
3. Specifications:
1)Viscosity: Zahn#3/25℃ 30-50 seconds
2)Finene: ≤5 μm
3)Initial dryne: 40-70mm
4)Freeze resistance: ≤4℃
5)Adhesion: ≥98%
4.Blending:
The main solvents of the gravure printing ink are ester and alcohol. At the printing speed of 100m/min---200m/min, the following blended solution is quite suitable to thin the CH gravure printing ink.
A.Ethyl acetate : Ethanol (2- Propanol)
1 : 1
When diluting the ink, please blend the various solvents before infusing them into the printing ink.
B.The dosage of ink diluent varies with the different printing speed. If too much diluent is used, the dried ink film will be too thin and the rub intensity and grinding capability will be reduced. The proper blending proportion of diluent and ink is usually 0.2-0.5: 1.
C.This series of products are of high chromaticity. If you want to decrease the density of the printing color, please use our CHM diluent to make it thinner.
5. Viscosity:
The viscosity varies with the printing speed and conditions; the usual flow speed is 18-25 seconds, Zahn cup viscometer No. 3, 25℃.
6. Notes for usage:
It is neceary to infuse proper diluents into the printing ink. Our standard diluent, will produce the best printing effect. We have quick-drying, slow-drying and medium-drying diluents suitable for different climates and printing speeds. The features of printing ink like glo, color and luster will be damaged due to improper diluent usage.
