With fine base materials, CIP alcohol soluble gravure printing ink has good printing suitability. It contains no toluene. So it is especially suitable for toluene-prohibited sheet printing, such as candy wrappers and food packaging. Printed on tipping paper, it can produce desirable printing effect.
1. Compositions:
alcohol soluble polymerized resin, advanced pigments for toilette and medical use.
2. Features:
a.Fine printing suitability and brightne reproduction. It is especially suitable for high- speed printing. It is applicable to different kinds of gravure printing machines.;
b.Fine adhesivene and compound intention.;
c.Low solvent residues, little odor, free from toluene and environment friendly;
d.Free from causticity and unlikely to taint the printing plate.
3. Blending:
Using ethyl alcohol or 2-propanol as the solvent, and the dosage depends on printing speed. Please add the chosen solvent to the to-be-diolved printing ink and stir until the viscosity is suitable for printing.
4. Viscosity:
1） Supply viscosity: flow speed 30-40 seconds, Zahn cup No.3, 25℃
2） Printing viscosity:
high-speed printing with imported machines:
flow speed 12-16 seconds, Zahn cup viscometer No.3, 25℃
low-speed printing with domestic machines:
flow speed 16-18 seconds, Zahn cup viscometer No.3, at 25℃
5.Solid substance contained: 40-48%
6. Ink finene: ≤16μm
7. Notes:
1)The viscosity of the printing ink should be adjusted in accordance with the feature of sheet and the printing speed.
2)The viscosity of the printing ink will increase to the volatilization of the dilution. Please add in time the solvent to maintain the viscosity of the dilution to the fixed scope. If the printing ink volatilizes too fast, you are advised to use CH-MG slow drying agents of our company.
